The person has microbacterial goodii in the elbow with implant.The elbow cannot be debrided or removed because of its frail condition. Presently it is draining a yellowish-red fluid.

I am sorry I cannot give you advice on how to treat this infection. Please talk with the doctor who performed the joint replacement surgery or get a second opinion from a qualified health professional.

M Goodii is a mycobacterium that can affect implants. It can be difficult to treat.
