...one of the journals to which I link in the Honorable Alzheimer's Blogs section to the right, Alzheimers - The Carer's View has picked up after a fairly long absence. Although her care recipient, her mother, died some time ago, she decided to continue filling in the details of her story, including insightful observations and ruminations. It also contains some interesting short essays on circumstances encountered when caring for someone and some evocative posts on how her feelings about her mother and caring for her evolved through and after her journey. I'm ashamed to admit that, after a few unproductive visits, I assumed that she'd decided not to continue her blog, so I didn't get back to it until some days ago. Good reading, definitely worth a second look. For those of you who remember what seemed like her last post, she actually picked up the threads in earnest a few months later and continues to this day. Later.
Later.
