Hi Catherine,

Here are the ways people change their teeth:

1. Metal braces - you know about these. Metal bands are attached by your orthodontist to the teeth and used to slowly move the teeth in the correct position.

2. Invisalign - these are clear plastic retainers from your dentist. You wear them a number of hours each day. They gradually move the position of your teeth. They are best for moderate changes.

3. Porcelain veneers - the dentist grinds individual teeth to get a more pleasing shape and then cements thin porcelain covers over the teeth.

Unfortunately, none of these procedures are inexpensive. If your dental insurance doesn't cover them, your other alternative might be to arrange a payment plan with your dentist.

I'm not aware of any workout you can do at home that will change how protruding teeth look. Any work on your teeth really needs to be done by a qualified practitioner.

Best to you.
