Hello,

Interferon is a very powerful drug. It is used to treat cancers, multiple sclerosis and certain strains of hepatitis.

Conflicting findings from very small studies suggest that we still don't know the real outcome when interferon is used during pregnancy.

But, if you are concerned, I suggest that you talk immediately with your doctor about being given this drug. If you are not satisfied, I suggest that you get a second opinion.
