In high school, one of my English teachers had a Friday tradition... The Beef Box! When one stood on this box they were granted the power to vent about anything and not get in trouble! Risky for a teacher right?!

Students were almost always appropriate. We would even have some teachers from other classrooms join us so they could get their "beef" off their chests!

I would like to bring back this tradition!

My beef... Road construction during business hours right outside our office! Concentration has been a little difficult this week. I think a lunch time cocktail should be allowed during these LOUD, stressful times! Hmm.... I wonder if I can get that one past the boss?!

Happy Friday!

Complaining to a friend...
Yellow Car
A man was complaining to a friend.

"I had it all. Money, a beautiful house, a BIG car, the love of a beautiful woman, then, POW! It was all gone!"

"What happened?" asked the friend.

"My wife found out."

Why English spelling is sew hard...
  • We must polish the Polish furniture.
  • He could lead if he would get the lead out.
  • The farm was used to produce produce.letters
  • This was a good time to present the present.
  • A bass was painted on the head of the bass drum.
  • When shot at, the dove dove into the bushes.
  • I did not object to the object.
  • The insurance was invalid for the invalid.
  • The bandage was wound around the wound.
  • There was a row among the oarsmen about how to row.
  • They were too close to the door to close it.
  • The buck does funny things when the does are present.
  • The wind was too strong to wind the sail.
  • After a number of injections my jaw got number.
  • Upon seeing the tear in my clothes I shed a tear.
Quit complaining

Three boxes...

Three boxes are all labeled incorrectly, and you must get the labels right.

The labels on the boxes read as follows:Nails and Screws

Box 1 - Nails
Box 2 - Screws
Box 3 - Nails and Screws

To gain the information you need to move the labels to the correct boxes, you may remove a single item from one of the boxes. You may not look into the boxes, nor pick them up and shake them, etc.

Can this be done? If so, how? If not, why not?

Do you know the answer? Post it on our Facebook page!

Last Weeks Riddle Answer:

The water is doubling every five minutes. Since the room is filled in 100 minutes, it will be half full in 95 minutes.

This Weeks Quote...
"I personally believe we developed language because of our deep inner need to complain."
