When do you start monitoring and controlling your children’s food intake? I know that from the day they were born, parents fret about their children’s nutrition, researching on the right food for their babies to eat making sure they avoid sweets and all that.
Our daughter is turning 12 soon and she loves her food (just like me!). I find myself reminding my daughter to not eat too much where my Husband stops me from doing that with the excuse that she’s a child, she will burn all those extra calories.
Not really sure that we should use that as an excuse.
Or should we?
Do we just turn a blind eye to our children’s food intake with the excuse that they’d burn the calories simply from their physical activities. What if it’s not enough? What if they’re eating more than they are being physically active?
