Brooke Astor’s Charitable Giving Is Questioned by Son’s Lawyer

I am covering the Brooke Astor lawsuit on the Alzheimer's Reading Room because her mental state is being challenged. Alzheimer's and dementia are an issue in this trial.
I think there is something to be learned here. If you are an Alzheimer's sufferer and you don't put you financial affairs in order early on, it could lead to an ugly mess once you are gone.
I mentioned before that I get emails about money issues. Where there is money involved their are always issues. The only way to insure this won't lead to a lawsuit and family squabbles is to take care of this issue.
It seems to me this trial can serve as a wake up call. I hope it helps.
