I need urgent advice! My mom has alzheimers and lost her only son about three years ago. At the time she seemed to understand what was going on and I took her to the funeral and she said her goodbyes.
How do I handle the situation when she asks about him and I tell her he has passed on and this upsets her very much.
Do I continue to tell her or what should I say? It breaks my heart to see how this upsets her for a few days and then she forgets and feels better.

I will appreciate any advice.
