Why God? (Day 128)

Posted Oct 04 2009 11:13pm

I had plans to play baseball today.
Why did it have to rain today?
Why God?

Why did the car breakdown?
I don’t have the money to get it fixed.
Why God?
Why did I get cancer? Why God?

Sometimes God doesn’t answer those questions right away, but He does have the answers. You just have to trust Him.

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.
Romans 8:28 (NIV) (emphasis added)

And it is ok to ask God, “Why God?” There are many people in the Bible who asked God, “Why …?” Jesus even asked, “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?” Reference: Matthew 27:46
The answer to that question is that Jesus took upon himself the sins of this world and God is so pure that he can not even look upon evil.

Why did it rain? That is an easy question to answer.
So we can have puddles!Ha! Ha!

My blood test yesterday showed that my liver enzymes are getting closer to normal, but for some unknown reason my platelet count is continuing to get lower than normal.

I asked the PA, “Why are my platelets getting lower?” She didn’t know the answer to that question. She thought that maybe I have an infection going on inside me without any other symptoms or maybe the medications were causing it. Who knows? God does!
