i was told by a 38 year old friend that she has stage 6 brain cancer. She has had to tumors removed about 3 months apart from her brain. One in the front behind the hair line and one on the left side just below the top of her head. She just completed a round of chemo and radiation ( about 2 months). She told me today that the next step is to experiment with a new breast cancer treatment that is being tried in Birmingham, AL. She said that is has been successful in a few cases and not in most cases. I have tried the get information regarding stage 6 brain cancer and have not found any. Stage 4 is the highest for most cancer so I want to know if there is a different stag progression for brain cancer. What can I expect and how much time. I am very concerned I have know her since she was 5 yrs. old and I need to know what is going on with out asking too many details as not to upset her. I find my self just trying to keep her laughing. Every few weeks we discuss the details from her doctors. She was told on 9/11/01 that she had MS because she had spots on her brain. I really believe that she have early stage of cancer then. I asked her if they continue to say that she does have MS and she said that they said that she does. Please give any information. thanks.
