I have a family member who has supposedly had a cyst like lesion at the side of his throat for the past year. He denies any pain or other symptomes. He does not feel fatigued and has not lost weight. I papated the lesion and it feels mobile and about 1cm by 1cm and pretty symmetrical.The lesion is to the left of his throat. I didn"t want to freak him out but i am so worried now and don"t know what could be te different diagnosis.Also, what would be my next step? where do i take him first...ent, general surgeon...???please help
