Tumor speciation

Dr. Jules Berman recently blogged about tumor speciation which not only is a brief summary of his book Neoplasms: Principles of Development and Diversity but also frames a discussion of the important question of why are there different types (species) of recognizable tumors in specific anatomical sites yet each individual tumor within the species is unique.  Read it.
