As soon as you can you should make an appointment with an Endocrinologist. Primary doctors are great when you have a cold but they shouldn't be giving you advise when it comes to your Thyroid and the results from it. That is my opinion but it is one formed after four years of dealing with endocrine cancers.
Get the opinion of the endocrinologist and let them help you figure out what tests you need and treatment. Also let me know how things turn out and if you need anymore answers.

You will see at the bottom that it says a FNA has a false track record of finding malignancies so please make sure you see that endocrinologist so you are taken care of like you deserve. ;)

I had a fine Needle Aspiration 10-11-08 and the results were talked to me but I was not happy. My test were given back with A Binign Adenomatous Nodule with Hurthle Cell Change adn Cystic Degeneration. Celluar specimen with clusters of Hurthle cells in a background of moderate colloid, and cystic degeneration with hemosiderin-laden macrophages.
Please tell me your thoughts >>> All my docotor said is that I will need to get fine needle Asp. every year to make sure the it does not get bigger? Should I take my paperwork to the Thryoid docotor this was my Primary that gave me this paperwork? Thanx
