The lovely Gosia Gorna, who helped me so much during chemotherapy (look here for a flavour of her work) is running her wonderful course, ‘The Year I Would Love To Have’, on Sunday 20th January in London. I went on it a couple of years ago and found it brilliantly helpful. Essentially, it’s an opportunity to give attention to, and plan, the year ahead, and work out what it is that you really want and need before you race off trying to find/get the things you think you really want and need.
I won’t be going this year – I will be thigh-deep in the year I would love to have, writing ‘Breaking Bread’ and planning Throckton novel 3* – but, if the idea of this calls to you, I strongly urge you to go.
The course costs £69 if you book before 20 January, and you can book 3 places for the price of 2. For more details look here , and if you do go, tell Gosia I said hi!
* these are the things I am doing for all of next year, not just on January 20th.
