Temodar has some activity in sarcomas as a singel agent. However, while not particularly effective, it is thought to have a place in palliation of resistant disease. Several phase II trials have been performed.
Temozolomide is a radiosensitizer that is well tolerated and has modest side effects. It has been studies with radiation in the end stage sarcoma situations with or without radiation for palliation and such use is supported by several phase II trials
