My blood test yesterday had a couple of "H"s and one "L" on it. Not bad though, the numbers are very close to being in the normal ranges. President Obama recently said, “Things are going to get worse before they get better” in an NBC Meet the Press interview with Tom Brokaw. Nearly two million people are without a job and that number appears to be growing daily. The price of food and energy is going up. We are in a recession with inflation climbing. I haven’t been sleeping well the last few nights and there are dark bags under my eyes. My wife thinks that I’m worried about the loss of my job and that’s why I haven’t been sleeping well. She is right. I worry about things that I have no control over. So what am I going to do?
I plan on memorizing Matthew 6:25-34. I will listen to and watch the birds. I will take time to admire the flowers. I will put my trust in God to take care of me and all of my concerns. So stop worrying! God has everything under control. He loves us and He knows what is best for us.
