Side effects

Lou: How are you?

Me: I'm fine! how are you?

Lou: Fine. How was yesterday?

Me: [pause] Yesterday?

Lou: Did you not have your herceptin yesterday?

Me: Oh! Yes! Sorry, I'd completely forgotten.... yes, it was OK. No problems. I went a bit shivery last night but it was only for about 20 minutes. And I'm a but sniffly. But it was OK.

Lou: Oh good.

Me: Yes.

Lou: And how was Sunday?

Me: [even longer pause] Sunday?

Lou: Race for Life?

Me: Oh! Yes! I'd completely forgotten..

... and so it went on. So I'm thinking maybe herceptin is having a side effect and eating my short term memory.
