primary lung cancer treatment finished why do my bones ache? is this secondary bone cancer

Posted by Caty

i was diognosed with stage 3 cancer (non small cell) 12 January 2009. I have received in all 8 sessions of chemo (4 novernight stays + 4 back up tablets) then 20 days radiotherapy. The Radiotherapy ended 29th May 2009. All went pretty smoothlybut now, on 20th July, i have been, for the past few weeks, experiencing pretty bad body pain in the morning or have been sitting and then getting up. like really bad athritis. I am 59 years of age and have always been a smoker since the age of 14.have notsmoked since November 2008. I would really like to know if anyone else has had this reaction to treatment. Please do not hesitate to let me know what is causing this- be it a reaction to the treatment or a secondary cancer as I really am capable of knowing the truth-then blooming well dealing with it, honestly without fear. Best wishes and hope to all. Cathy xx
