This afternoon I had a call from my hospital. After two weeks of slight anxiety I got the results. The m-proteins of band 1 are 2,0 and this time there was also a value for band 2. This read also 2,0. These were good results, because I should not add these two bands together. My hematologist used to do that, because the final result was the two of them added together.
Science does not stand still and the new truth is, that only band 1 is relevant. Band 2 does not influence the myeloma. So the results are positive, because down from 2,4 to 2,0. And not up from 2,4 to 4,0 as my arithmetic used to be.
I made a new graph which only shows band 1. If you find this confusing?
I am a little confused myself.
