As I mentioned in earlier posts, my husband has lost weight and it's been a struggle trying to get him to put some of it back on but one thing that is working, along with my Smoothies, Porridge, along with other nutritous foods is
ORANGE JUICE !
Not the store bought kind, but freshly squeezed orange juice. Everyday now for the past two weeks, I've been giving him two cups of the juice which equals three oranges in the mornings with his breakfast and another two cups of it before bedtime. I don't strain it as the oranges I've been getting have very little pulp and very small seeds so it's even more nutritous that way.
He likes to drink it when it's cold, so just pop it in the freezer for a few minutes and voila!!!
Remember, don't give up, even sometimes when the going gets tough! Keep positive!!!
