Not a Great Day in Bunnyland

Our Princess Vivi is not doing as well as we all would like. In addition to the C. diff., she also has a very bad oral thrush. She is on pain medication and sedatives, and we are treating the thrush with Nystatin. Intravenous anti-fungal medicines might be added to help her heal as quickly as possible.

Vivi is now finally resting and sleeping deeply. We are keeping her comfortable and letting her rest, while gently patting her, whispering to her and otherwise letting her know she is not alone.
Please pray for Miss Vivi. Through all of this journey, she has not seen very much discomfort (other than nausea), and we ask for mercy that we can keep her feeling her best.

Nana and Granddad's visit ended today, with Justin taking them to the airport a few minutes ago. We had a great Thanksgiving and a wonderful visit, and we hope against hope to see them again at the end of the month for Christmas.
