I am taking this opportunity to introduce you all to a long time friend of mine; Jeff Crepeau. This man has fundraising flowing in his veins.
When he was a teenager, to help raise money for little league baseball, he would sell candy bars to guys in the bar in the Detroit area. They had their money laying on the bar beside them, so they couldn't say they didn't have any money and the candy bar purchase represented a better use of their money then what they had planned for it.
He rode in a Bike-A-Thon, with a borrowed bicycle and put 90 miles on it. He made money for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
He talked me into doing a Muscular Dystrophy Association Dance-A-Thon in college. He even talked a girl into dancing with me for the day & night dance. She ended up on crutches before the event, but she talked three of her girl friends into taking shifts so I wouldn’t ever have to dance alone. That was amazing considering that the guy to girl ratio at MTU at that time was seven to one. There were 27 other guys that weekend that had no chance for a date. Jeff has been awarded many times for his fundraising efforts.
Not surprisingly, Jeff runs a fundraising business and is successful at it. He has been activiely involved in fundraising for local church ministries over the past 17 years.
Most recently, his company has launched a fresh roasted coffee fundraising program with The American Cancer Society for the Relay For Life and Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Events.
This coffee fundraising program is available nationwide so if you want to help raise funds or know of someone interested in helping to raise funds for the American Cancer Society go to http://www.fundraisingtogether.com/1.html
I recommend that if you are part of a group and you need help with fundraising, call Jeff! Check out his website at:
