As most of you may know by now, I have an RCC tongue met . Its about the land size of a dime or slightly bigger and it has been collecting bacteria and disgusting mouth ‘stuff’ since it sprang up. Well, the MDX-1106 has been weakening it and slowly killing it as is evidenced by this beautiful specimen that came out tonight before dinner. It looks like a disgusting cereal morsel or something but it is an ugly, veiny, angry looking thing that bled like crazy after it came out.
These are all good signs. I have had about 4 or 5 of these pieces fall out recently, a sign that the met is weakening and even shrinking. There is one more piece of it left in my mouth and when that one goes, I am going back to my ENT for a look.
I am waiting for one more delicious piece to fall out and I will post it as well since I know everyone loves seeing bits of tongue mets.
