Well, Vivienne's third of four methotrexate days went just fine. She seems to have learned the art of sleeping through it, and her mood has been a bit fussy but not too bad. She has not thrown a fever at all. She is not inflicted with much nausea, but that might be coming. She's been eating so much that I can barely keep her hospital room stocked with food.
Vivienne currently eats the Princess Vivi Cocktail, which consists of:
- 60ml Similac Advance
- Three spoons of Happy Baby rice cereal
- Either two spoons of Gerber pears or 10ml Apple-Prune juice.
The Princess Vivi Cocktail gets the calories up, with added sweetness so she doesn't taste the same old chemical taste of formula. At least, I assume formula has a chemical taste because it smells absolutely awful.
