LOLs

Posted Dec 30 2008 8:19am
The Topotecan went well yesterday. Vivienne had to endure a prick on her arm for a blood draw, but Dr. Gajjar kindly called last night and said they won't need to do that again. Otherwise, the day was long but easy, with everything that needed to happen going smoothly.

Something made Vivienne somewhat grouchy yesterday. It might have been the Topotecan, or her mouth, or her teeth, or something I haven't figured out yet. She was intermittently grouchy, primarily when trying to go to sleep. Vivienne doesn't cry much, and tends not to get very upset, but yesterday she would protest loudly and immediately at various things.

On the other hand, when she wasn't being cranky, she was a ton of fun. Vivienne really has laughing down, and a great sense of humor. She smiles at all kinds of things - Mommy and Daddy, Elmo, Grampy, toys, and anything that amuses her. Now, she laughs out loud (lols) the same way - not just when Mommy or Daddy is tickling her, but if someone makes a goofy face, or does something silly, or any old thing.

Her laugh is the most charming, wonderful, musical sound I've ever been blessed to hear. She has a giggle, a guffaw, a chuckle, and a right out "ha ha ha ha!".
