In the Year 2000...

Posted Jan 14 2009 8:36pm
When he returned from Mayo after stem cell collection, it was decided that Richard needed some type of chemo to keep the myeloma at its present low level. He had six cycles of VCMB (vincristine, cyclophospamide, melphalan, BCNU). This didn't cause too many problems. He continued to teach.

During this time, I received my Masters Degree in nursing and was certified as a family nurse practitioner. I started a job in the small hospital where I had worked as a nurse. All things considered, 2000 was a good year.
