I just threw up a normal amount of food from my stomach, but after spitting out anything else, I noticed a little blood. Help?

This was not mixed with any of the throw up or a lot of mucus, just with saliva. I feel a place on the back of my throat that feels like the source of the bleeding. What could this mean? I am almost certain that it is from this place in my throat; I did a lot of talking today without good projection. Could you help? I also want to know if this could be anything more serious. Thank you.
