I drove the car today. I drove Kim to Kohl's in Holland. I drove to Zeeland. I drove back to Allegan. The car is now over due for an oil change. :-) This is the first real driving I have done this year. Due to the medication I take I have to limit my driving time. It is another step back to normal life.
Sorry, I didn't give an update on my last blood test and doctor visit.
Here it is:
Blood test results were better again. Still not completely normal levels, but they are continuing to get closer.
Doc put me on an antibiotic, Doxycycline Hyclate, for ten days, to see if the red bumps on my chest go away. In case they are from a bacterial infection and not just GVHD.
They reduced my steroid pills to 4 mg every other day. In a couple of weeks, provided everything is still going good, they will reduce my doctor visit/blood tests to every other week. They should take me off steroid pills all together then.
The car is now over due for an oil change. :-)
