Dad, you have shown me how to love. I saw how much you loved my mother and I continue to see how much you love my stepmother.
You taught me how to be a godly man.
I tell the truth because you taught me that lying was wrong and that I didn’t want to disappoint you.
You showed me how to take responsibility and be a leader by your example.
I appreciate how much of your time you gave to me even when I was a pain in your butt.
I have met other people who didn’t have a great father like you. I feel very sorry for them. I feel very blessed because of you and I’m thankful to God, our heavenly father, for you being such a big part of my life.
You taught me how to laugh even through painful times.
I admire you and hope to become a great father like you too!
