my dad has squamous cell esphogeal cancer stage four. they are to start chemo and radiation this week. the mass is at junction of the stomach. the chemo is 5 days a week for 7 weeks. they are to do a pet scan on thursday. i think they found 2 masses so far. he has a hx of kidney cancer 25 years ago in which his kidney was removed. he quite drinking etoh last week and is trying to quit smoking. he has not had any other sx. he has high blood pressure controlled by medication. he was dx c diabetes last year but lost weight and is not on any meds for it. he is 70 years old
