Richard's last positive CMV blood test was on 12/6/05. He went off of IV medication and on to
Valcyte which is oral. Unfortunately this didn't do much for his creatinine. His
cyclosporine was cut again to a sub-theraputic level, but the creatinine didn't budge. He was also retaining
potassium (normal 3.5 - 5.2, depends on individual lab standards).
Time to see another specialist...the
nephrologist. We liked him, so I'll post a
link to him.
