colonoscopy revealed dark patches on colon wall. should i be concerned?

have had part of colon removed because of colon cancer. what do the dark patches mean. i have done oral doses of kemo and this is the second colonoscopy followup. CT scan was also done. colon wall revealed some thinkening of the colon wall.
