can throat cancer be see when performing an upper gi

Posted by lynnk

I had an upper gi  done because i have had a feeling like somthing is stuck in my throat and my throat is sore all the time.  I had no signs of esophogus cancer, and my doctor said if I had throat cancer it would have been seen for sure during this procedure.  Is this true, because I still feel like I have somthing stuck in my throat and it is very sore and I've been coughing alot, all symptoms of throat cancer.  LK
