Big week ahead, next week

Posted Apr 16 2010 5:51am

Blood tests on Monday, doctor visit on Tuesday, pentamidine treatment and visiting with Indian Lake Papa & Mama on Wednesday, 47 years old on Thursday (remind me to get the required burning permit for my birthday cake) and hopefully, by Friday I’ll know if I have a new job or not.

Sounds like a busy week, hey?

President Obama sent me back an e-mail in response to the e-mail I sent him.
Here is the e-mail:

Dear Friend:

Thank you for your kind note.
Your thoughtful words join a chorus
of millions of Americans who are eager

to lead our Nation towards a brighter

Each day, I am inspired by the
encouraging messages of hope and
determination I have received from
people across the country.  With
the magnitude of challenges we
face, we will only overcome them
if our imagination is joined to
common purpose.

The future we leave to our
children and grandchildren will
be determined by our willingness
to shoulder each other's burdens,
take great risks, and move
forward as one people and
one Nation.  With your help,
we will build on what we have
already achieved and lay a new
foundation for real and lasting

Yeah, I’m pretty sure that he didn’t read my e-mail to him.  But it is nice that he called me “friend”.  I said that I would pray for him, his family and our nation.

I believe that historians will be writing the final chapters in this nation’s history very soon.  This country is broke fanatically, ethically, morally and spiritually.  It is sad that so much blood, sweat and tears have gone into making this country a great “Nation under God” and now that is all just tossed aside.
The good news is that my faith is not in this nation but in the God who created all nations.

In the book of Isaiah, Chapter 45, verse 23; God tells us that “Before me every knee will bow; by me every tongue will swear.”  Jesus is the “King of Kings and Lord of Lords”!

Take time today to read Matthew 24.  It is a warning to all unbelievers and encouragement to the elect.

Have a great weekend!  May God Bless You Richly!  Amen!
