My nephew has liver cancer, hepatitis C, cirrohsis of the liver and now renal failure. The doctors say dialysis is not an option as is a kidney/liver transplant. Apparently, his system would not tolerate surgery. He's had two rounds of chemo embolization but each time ended up in the hospital with an infection possibly related to his abdomen being tapped because of fluid build up. Anyhow, they're not offering much hope so obviously, we're trying to research any and all option. Consequently, that's the reason for my question.
