I'm 47, in good health, have had a reocurrance of a 2008 Astrocytoma Grade II, now Grade III. The tumor was removed and now I'm faced with making a decision on follow-up treatment. One of my recommendations is to take Avastin inconjunction with radiation (H-SRT). My concerns are with the side effects of Avastin. Some of the "Less Likely" and all of the "Rare, but Serious" are fatal or significantly reduce the quality of life. What are people's experiences with Avastin? What is the likelihood of having one or more of the debilitating side effects?
