Does anyone have any information on peripheral neuropathy as a result of excess zinc in the diet?

I have read about neuropathy resulting from zinc in denture cream.  My diet was high in protien and and complex carbohidrates, plus 30mg of zinc supplments per day, for about two years subsecuent to developing peripheral neuropathy.
