why are my boobs itching under the skin

For the last 2 weeks my boobs have been itching like mad but it feels like it is inside mt boob. Its not on the skin. My boyfriend felt for lumps and he said there was nothing different between the 2 boobs and no lumps he could feel. What could this be?
