What are standard treatments for Adenocarcinoma of the breast?

Posted by DS

Surgeon says tumor biopsy & /or? MRI shows it's a skin appendage (there was nothing sticking out). he says only needs to extricate more tissue from site to be safe,Says MRI shows no abnormalities.(???!)Says it's not breast cancer.

Dr. says it is abreast cancer cause comes from breast.

I think of breast cancer needing chemo &?/OR? radiation.

I'm confused & frustrated.Thankyou,DS

Conventional treatments for breast adenocarcinoma include radiation, chemotherapy, and surgery. If the lump has no sign of cancer, it is best to surgically remove it. If you are getting different answers between your doctor and surgeon, I would recommend a third opinion from a reliable source.
