Well if you are in the Washington, D.C. area this may be your chance.

Kaleidoscope a variety special that will be airing Thanksgiving night schedule to tape on November 16th at the Verizon Center in Washington, D.C..

A celebration of Skating, Song and Survivorship the show will feature the return to the ice of Scott Hamilton, in his first televised performance since his brain tumor five years ago. Hamilton and fellow cancer survivor Dorothy Hamill will skate to the music of Olivia Newton-John, yet another cancer survivor. Other scheduled performers include musician David Foster, Olympic Champion Kristi Yamaguchi, two-time Olympic Medalist Nancy Kerrigan and Olympic figure skating hopefuls Johnny Weir and Rachael Flatt.

“Kaleidoscope” is a program designed to recognize women and the key role they play in the battle against cancer - as patients, caregivers, and advocates. What I'm happy to see is the collaborative effort of 10 nationwide advocacy partners including: American Society of Clinical Oncology, Breast Cancer Network of Strength, C3: Colorectal Cancer Coalition, Gynecologic Cancer Foundation, The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Lung Cancer Alliance, National Coalition for Cancer Survivorship, Oncology Nursing Society, Ovarian Cancer National Alliance and the Prevent Cancer Foundation.
