The Journal of National Cancer Institute has published risk factors for breast cancer in men. A family history of the disease and obesity are risk factors as they are in women. They also found that bone fractures after age 45 is associated with an increased risk. The researchers are clear that risk factors are difficult to accurately list due to the low incidence of male breast cancer making up only 0.7% of all breast cancer cases. The journal abstract can be read here.
