I have been experiencing discomfort similar to a urinary tract infection for several months now. I went to a Urologist last week and he did a scope into my bladder but all was clear with the exception of some Trigonitis? No Dr I have spoken to has even heard of this? Strange. Even stranger is the Urologist said there was nothing to do for it. Nice! So I guess I have to live with it?
Well, today the discomfort started in the AM and continued to increase and turn into PAIN. Felt like a hot poker being jammed and pushed up my bladder/urethra. :O It was tolerable until about noon so I called Steve and asked him to take me to the hospital.
I took a Darvocet on the way - thank goodness I had it left over from the sentinel node biopsy! How nice to slowly have the PAIN ebb away. :)
We got to the hospital about 1:15 and left about 9PM!! My urine has been and still is showing blood. They did a Catscan. The Dr's final analysis is I might have passed a kidney stone. My bladder showed a small calcification which could be indicative of passing a stone.
I hadn't eaten anything all day so Steve and I hit the local Pizzeria and scoffed up some greek salad and greasy pizza. Started feeling discomfort (but no pain) so took another Darvocet and am off to bed.
