We set out to test the new lift on the car for my mobility scooter, but, alas, we decided that we need some adjustments before we continue. Let’s face it. It’s not something you want flying off the vehicle in transit. In the meantime, I’ll keep my walker/wheelchair in use and will bring it along to the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure next Sunday. I figure with my having now missed two chemo treatments, I will be walking around the block again by, say, Wednesday. By Sunday I predict I’ll be sprinting.
We were up early today, and I suspect we’ll settle in to end the weekend early–after the Oscars. Marvin is fighting a nasty head cold, and I’m trying to avoid catching it from him. Rest is in order.
