I saw this video in the latest edition of the NCI Bulletin, which is published by the National Cancer Institute, and wanted to share it with you. In this video, Dr. John Milner of the National Cancer Institute discusses the potential importance of healthy eating and cancer risk. He also discusses the concept of nutrigenomics, the interaction between what we eat and our genes, in regards to personalized nutrition and health. In this video, he indicates that about 30% of cancers are related to our dietary habits and therefore, about one-third of cancers could be eliminated if we could develop an 'ideal diet'.
