N.E.R.D. or N.E.D.

Usually you read the result of a PET scan as N.E.D. or no evidence of disease but around here it's reported as N.E.R.D. no evidence of recurrent disease.

Well if the acronym fits! It is with tears of joy that I was told today that my scan is clear and that there is no evidence of recurrent disease! So that's it until this time next year. I keep up with what I'm doing and see my oncologist next week.
