I am 54 with very large breasts and a history of multiple fibrosystic lumps. I had a hysterectomy at the age of 38 due to endometriosis. Mempause was diagnosed 3 years ago. Twice I have had "A" typical cells and have had to have them removed. For 4 years I was going for mammograms every 6 months ( on the instructions of my specialist) but have now extended it to annually. I have been suffering with burning sensations in both breasts for about 10 years and everyone says there is nothing to worry about. It is so bad at times I have to use a hot bag to ease the pain. I personally think if there is pain that is so severe, there must be a problem of sorts - not necessarly cancer, though there is breast cancer in the family.
