On new years eve I found a lump on my breast/armpit sort of where they join, the breast swelled loads but has gone done now. the lump was painful (thats how i found it) but not anymore and think it maybe smaller but cant really tell. keep getting shooting pains in the breast, anyone know whats wrong?

Any lump in the breast/armpit area has the potential to be breast cancer. Often times the lump can be painless, but breast pain is a common symptom of breast cancer. Getting a mammogram is the best way to find out what could be wrong. Best of luck.
