In the last couple of months I woke up 3-4 times with a stain around my left breast area, so I am assuming it's caused by a discharge from a nipple. the first time it was yellowish in color, and the other times it looked darker (perhaps streaked with blood? - I can't really tell).Perhaps it's also important to note that my left nipple has always been inverted.
I am 30 years old, and my mom had breast cancer when she was 55 so naturally I am at a greater risk of having breast cancer myself - which is why I am slightly freaking out. I get manually checked every 6 months - last time was in August. My doctor also recommended to start having routine mamograms, and I had my first in August as well. Both the manual check and the screen were perfectly ok.
So can it be that I developed breast cancer in 2 months??? Alternativly, can the discharge be a symptom for a different condition other than breast cancer?
