* Bored *

Posted Aug 26 2008 4:22pm

I arrived at the hospital early and found myself bored so I pulled out my camera and entertained my goofy side which quickly passed the time! LOL
My freshly manicured fingers & toes look mahvelous darling.
A couple self poses expressing my boredom.
My new funky purse from Two Olive Designs . If your hip check out the link to the right!
The Life Is Good sticker I haven't put on my car yet. I am a huge fan of Life Is Good stuff! It makes ya smile - it's positive and the little guy is cute.
And finally my ladybug keys. Cute eh'?
After entertaining myself (hehehe) I had the Echo-Cardiogram. It was painless but a little uncomfortable with the positions. Much like an ultrasound.
Then got to sit in the "chemo room" for the first time to get my port flushed. (Surreal moment.) Nurses were very friendly. Felt a small prick and that's it. Nice! I was told it flushed well and looked real good. Which means it should do well for IV's or blood draws.
I am tired of appts. & hospitals & doctors offices.
But I go and smile and crack jokes and try to keep my inner "positive power chick" close by.
I met the Ladybugs @ Panera's for dinner before Stamp Club. Always time well spent. Lifts my spirits every time!
Went to Stamp Club for awhile then left early for home - have a sore, scratchy throat and start of a sneezy head cold. Just lovely!
I think if you have Cancer you should be restricted from having colds, flus or any other common malady. ;) LOL
That's it for today.
