This afternoon we went to see the surgeon. He was able to finally remove the last of my stomach drains, what a relief after having them in for 6 weeks. He checked out the breast area and thought it was still swollen in the upper part and so he tried to aspirate some fluid but he couldn't draw any out...so many needles I have had there! He thinks the problem may be that instead of fluid it may be tissue that has hardened from the radiation when I was so burnt. I still have lots of scaring from the radiation which never did heal properly. The surgery that he did with the tissue and skin from my abdomen is healing nicely but what he thinks he will do is to go in again and remove some of the hard tissue from the top part but because of everything I have gone through I need to heal a lot more yet. I have another appointment a few days after we get back from Arizona.
